The Gorge White House features Columbia Gorge wines & craft beers, fruit, flowers, art & more in a historic home on a century old working farm. We are located just 4 miles south of Hood River, Oregon on Highway 35 (the Mt. Hood Scenic By-way) in the heart of Hood River’s fruit orchards.
The Columbia Gorge is an up and coming wine area with over 35 wineries. We are proud to feature our own award winning Heritage Pear wine and a large wine selection from Gorge wineries in our tasting room. We call ourselves the “chamber of commerce” of Gorge wine. We also offer 3 Gorge micro-brews on any given day.
We proudly support our local art scene and change our gallery each month. On the first Sunday of each month we host an art reception for our featured artist or photographer. You often find plein air artists capturing the vistas from our property!
We have u-cut fields of flowers which begin blooming in late April with our daffodils and continue through first frost with our kodachrome dahlia fields. We offer u-pick strawberries, blueberries & table grapes from our fields and sell the best of seasonally available Gorge grown fruit. We also feature Oregon gourmet cheeses, meats and sauces.
